Cops arrest two men in Pattaya over rape of Chinese tourists
Two speedboat employees in Pattaya were arrested and charged with rape after two female Chinese tourists filed complaints with police.
Surachai Harnching-chai, 22, and Pima Ranoh, 19 were arrested after the tourists reported they were raped by the two men while taking a speedboat trip on Aug 31 to Koh Larn.
The two men allegedly persuaded the tourists to go see some monkeys on the island, but instead of taking them to see the monkeys, the men threatened them with screwdrivers and took the tourists to Nang Nuan beach on the island where they raped them, reported the Bangkok Post.
The suspects said they were drunk at the time and decided to commit the crime when they were sexually aroused watching the women pose seductively while taking photographs, reported Thai PBS English.
