At the beginning of the parade, when Xi Jinping rode past the assembled troops, he would, alternatively, say two phrases. After each one the troops would answer in unison.
Xi will first say, "Greetings, Comrades!" The troops will reply, "Greetings, Leader!" Xi will then say, "Comrades, you have all worked hard!" The troops will then reply, "Serve the people!"
The essence of his speech before that was " righteousness will prevail, peace will prevail, and finally, people's will will prevail." These words are more apt and powerful than what western people would like to repeat all the time, i.e. "Democrazy will prevail."
