American business has nothing on their Chinese counterparts for dodging responsibility. That mine owner in Utah wants everyone to believe an earthquake caused that mine cave in. Sounds like something from a Chinese mine disaster. Oh, at least in the Chinese case we can all see the water pouring in from the flood. Money itself isn't evil, but it's possession sure smokes out the ethically weak individuals faster than any other aspect of the human condition imaginable.
What really kills me about this is that don't the people who work in all these businesses both in the US and China have families and kids? This applies to things like marketing tobacco or alcopops to the youth. Don't these executives and marketing weenies have kids or neices and nephews they care about? Do they want their loved ones to have to suffer from these products they sell us? We deserve what we get when we don't take ethical stands in our own lives.
The pilot is always the first person at the scene of the crash.
