First they asked me where I'm from though I look like an average chinese. With the english craze in HK, isn't it a bit surprising?
Couldn't understand the words I scorned them with like 'enfant terrible', 'lumpen proletariat'
Some of them are unemployed,most are students or inadequately employed or on welfare
I tried to engage them into discussing international politics & US imperialism and mentioned Chomsky. They just didnt know what I was talking about.
They all have the habit of labelling all mainlanders 'commie'.
