Your first link, in addition to being hyperbolic nonsense, also says at the end that BMD systems are good for tactical ballistic missiles, which in the end would be the ONLY reason for the US to deploy BMD missiles to the Phillipines, were it to ever reestablish a military base there.Your second link specifically refers to the LACK of protection the PLAN would have from USN SSN's were their ballistic missile subs to deploy to the SCS, as compared to the relative safety of the Bohai Bay.
Again, there is no reason for PLAN SSBN's to deploy to the SCS. JL-2's do not have the range to hit anything from there except Guam and maybe Hawaii. China is certainly not going to feel the need to nuke any ASEAN countries or Australia.
