is now facing another trial.
A man awaiting trial for murder in the burning death of a woman in Mississippi now faces another trial, in the stabbing death of a woman in Louisiana.
KNOE-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/29MV2ES ) that Quinton Tellis is charged with the murder of Meing-Chen Hsiao, a graduate student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe who had been stabbed more than 30 times.
Police said evidence indicates Tellis withdrew almost $2,000 from her bank account after she was tortured to death.
Tellis already faces the death penalty if convicted of killing 19-year-old Jessica Chambers, who was discovered on a Mississippi roadside with burns all over her body. His first court appearance in that case is set for July 15 in Hernando.
