I posted on the topic here before; potentially quite significant, lots of 'refined' hydrocarbon(not crude oil) but also lots of flaks from environmentalists becos it could increase Chinese coal output significantly though the impact could be lessened by increasing present coal-fire electricity generation thermal efficiency and more solar, wind.. power

This 4 million tons synthetic hydrocarbon/year project costs 55 billion yuan to build. There're 10 coal-to-hydrocarbon installation in operation or testing stage by Oct 2018
