happened to pick it up. Besides, there was a lot of man-love going around the Russian aristocracy at the end of the Tsarist times. Everybody from Felix Yusupov on down would have came down with it. It's just as likely that he was poisoned or poisoned himself. BTW cholera was a huge problem for 19th century pioneers crossing the Great Plains in covered wagons, even though that area is quite cold. Wherever places cholera patients shit in the drinking water will have a risk of cholera. Happy vacationing in India!
