Honestly.  If China stopped its economy 100%, do you think India can fill the gap?  I don't think even South East Asian countries can let alone India.  Let's say India solved all its domestic problems and everything is running as smoothly as it can, do you still think India can fill the gap China left?  I don't think so.  It is a lost cause for India.  They can delude away thinking "what if this" and "what if that" but pretty much eveyone knows they can't do it.  We might see pockets of successes here and there which will be blown up by Inida as though they made it but on a national scale, it won't happen. If it can happen, it would have happened a decade or two ago.  Now it is even harder for them to do it.
