Lower Class, Middle Class and Upper Class. While more mobile than the Indian caste system, it is nonetheless pretty fixed. It was during the height of the colonial powers that race was brought in to placate the White lower class while the upper class continues to benefit.
Today, the remnants of such arrangement are breaking down. I noticed that it is more prevelant in former White Anglo colonies such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand than the US. The lower class Whites in these countries are more likely to treat non-Whites as lower than them. East Asians, generally are more successful are treated with envy and jealousy and explained away as corruption, money laundering and other criminal activities.
