The first shot about 2 months ago, that was the only choice for me. I had to take Astrazeneca or I had to wait. Since there is a shortage of vaccines and they were rationing it, who knows how long I would have to wait, so I took it.There was a small risk of blood clots. However, some doctor said that if you get Covid and wind up in the hospital there is a 1/5 chance of developing a blood clot. Either way there was going to be risk. Do not get the shot and sooner or later wind up with Covid.
The second shot they offered me a choice between Astrazeneca and something else. The Ontario government changed their mind about the safety of Astrazeneca midway through the vaccination program. Heh.
Decided to take the Astrazeneca again this weekend because it did not kill me before, and was reluctant to start mixing the shots at this stage of the game.
