China relationship with Russia has been good since both countries settled their border dispute, and now even warmer when both countries are facing the common enemy, the US and its lapdogs. The only problem is that Russia has too many enemies in Europe, especially Eastern parts where China tried to cultivate good relationship with. I suspect the tensions that China has with Lithuania and several Eastern Europe politicians must be because of China's close relationship with Russia. While at the same time, China's relationship with Russia isn't as strong as the relationship between the US and its allies because both countries don't want to be drag into each others' battle. For China, the question is how to persuade the europeans that China has nothing to do with their conflict with Russians while at the same time convincing the Russians that China will have its back when facing the US. The focus should be on the US.
