Carrying out large scale day and night parachute training using Y-20 that involved thousands of airborne troops.
Y-20B using WS20 has entered service.
Words are J-20 production is going to ramp up in order to reach 500 by the year 2025, and J-20 is performing test flight with WS-15. CAC is expanding its facility over the past years. With the phasing of the J-10 production line to GAIC, it'll be committed to J-20 production. I believe at some point the production will switch to WS-15 version of J-20.
Besides the J-20S which is likely to be flying companion UAV, CAC has other project going on.
A mysterious plane as captured in satellite photo.
Another likely project that CAC may involve later on is the single WS15 engine stealth fighter. If there'll be such a project, I expect it will happen after J-20 with WS-15 has enter service.
A STOVL project is casually mentioned in official site. A STOVL project has been heard for years. Will CAC be involved and will it have any connection to the single WS15 engine stealth fighter project remain to be seen.
