If you have ever used a reflector scope, like a Newtonian, you know what I'm talking about. The china scope is said to be not of a Ritchey-Chretien design(as the link said) but I think the image field flattening could be managed by adding a 3rd mirror as the article said or even by using a curved image receptor...just my guess
