course, correct?
There were many examples of companies headed by great engineers with great products went belly up. Yet, there are many mediocre companies flourished. Why? Perceptions NOT realities. Microsoft - a perfect example. In its early days, whether in office application or network software its rivals all had superior products but they all ended up dead. In essence, Microsoft is NOT really a software company but a marketing company.
You are wrong: people are that stupid. It is the perception NOT the reality that counts.
Don't believe me...approach your local university marketing professors and get a lesson on how stupid people are. Still don't believe me...approach a professional pollster.
